As you return and prepare for classes and engage your students, we thought it would be helpful to highlight a few important dates and upcoming events.
Spring Convocation: Kick off the Spring Semester by attending Spring Convocation, which will take place on Thursday, January 12 at 1 p.m. in the Winifred Moore Auditorium.
Adjunct Faculty Town Hall Meetings: President Elizabeth Stroble and Provost Julian Schuster, along with each of the college and school deans, will host two town hall meetings for adjunct faculty later this month. During these meeting, updates on university developments will be provided and adjunct questions answered. Both sessions will be held in EAB 253/262. The schedule is:
- Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 4 p.m.
- Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 10 a.m.
Diversity and Inclusion Summit: We will again hold our two-day Diversity and Inclusion Seminar on March 1-2. Like last year, we are assembling a dynamic group of outside speakers, panel discussions, and workshops. Watch Webster Today for more information.
Kemper Award Nominations Due Feb. 13 This award recognizes faculty members (including adjuncts) who exemplify teaching at its finest. From the nominations received, two full-time faculty members from the Home campus will receive a $10,000 award, and two adjunct faculty members from all campuses and online are eligible to receive $5,000.For additional information on the process, please visit here.
