Dear Valued St. Louis Adjunct Faculty:
Feedback is essential within any organization, and Webster University is no different. It can help identify challenges, recognize successes, and surface worthwhile suggestions.
For these reasons, we encourage you to share your thoughts about your teaching experience as an onground and/or online adjunct faculty member in the St. Louis area. Your opinions may be submitted anonymously. All that is required is to visit the link below, answer the questions – of which there are 12 – and hit submit. We ask that you complete this survey by Friday, May 19, 2017.
This survey is yet another component of our ongoing efforts to hear from you directly about your experience as a valued member of our adjunct faculty. Other initiatives undertaken include the following:
- Town hall meetings scheduled at the beginning of each semester with the college/school deans and members of the administration. In addition, we have asked that college/school and department meetings be held on a more consistent basis.
- Development of WebsterAdjunctInfo.org, a website created with your needs and interests as an adjunct in mind.
These initiatives – and the survey – will continue to be valuable channels of communication with you through which we can hear from you about what is working well within our systems, while also getting a better (and quicker) idea on processes and issues that may need our attention.
Finally, thank you for your service to Webster University and most especially our students. As a result of your efforts, our students enjoy a multi-dimensional educational experience, which will help make them accomplished global citizens.
Thank you for your suggestions for improving the adjunct faculty experience at Webster University. Enjoy your summer!
