Sidney Blumenthal, Former Clinton Advisor, To Visit Webster University to Discuss His New Lincoln Book

On Wednesday, November 8, Sidney Blumenthal will visit the Webster campus to discuss his new book, Wrestling with His Angel: The Political Life of Abraham Lincoln Vol. II, 1849-1856. The event, which is free of charge, will be held in Room 253 in the East Academic Building. The lecture begins at 4 p.m. For more information, visit here.

School of Communications Career Week Begins on Nov. 6.

Check out the impressive schedule of events for the upcoming School of Communications’ annual Careers Week, where 18 alumni and friends of the school will be returning to offer advice, counsel and participate in various activities. Among the week’s highlights, the Internship Expo, which will include visiting companies offering internship opportunities. The Expo will take place on Nov. 9 in the Sunnen Lounge from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Academic Resource Center to Hold Info Table For Students On Nov. 6 and Nov. 14

Students will have an opportunity to visit with academic counselors and pose questions about a variety of topics ranging from improving grades before the end of the semester to boosting test-taking skills. The Academic Resource Center (ARC) will host the Info Table at the University Center Commons, on Nov. 6 and 14th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. With the end of the semester approaching, encourage your students to stop by.
