Get Ready for Commencement
Bus schedules for faculty and staff have been posted here for Commencement Rehearsals and Ceremonies on May 11 and 12.
If adjunct faculty members have questions about the ceremonies, attendance, and/or participation, please check with your department chair or coordinator in your school or college. We welcome and invite your participation at Commencement. Please contact your dean by email or phone, if you would like to participate in either the main ceremony and or your college/school celebration.

Rhiney: Elected Management Department Chair by Faculty
At the Walker School, Department of Management faculty elected Eric Rhiney, associate professor of marketing, to serve as the department’s next chair, beginning June 1.
In his new position, Rhiney intends to focus his efforts on improving programs and department/school culture in ways that will help transform student experiences and learning. A graduate of Webster University himself, Rhiney intends to help forge intra- and interdepartmental collaboration. Read more about Eric and his plans here.
Communications Students and Adjunct Faculty Honored
Adjunct faculty members Julie Clark and Michael Whitmer received “Advisor of the Year” awards at the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) last weekend in Kansas City,
while Webster students in the Advertising Campaign Production class received third place honors for their project for District 9. Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation, the District 9 competition included schools from Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. Read more about the event here.
