President & Provost Statement About Synagogue Shootings
With recent events, including those at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pa., President Elizabeth Stroble and Provost Julian Schuster sent a message of reflection to the Webster University Community. In it, both pledged to host a series of forums to help the Webster University community gain a deeper understanding of these startling acts, and encourage reliance on core values of diversity, acceptance, and inclusion. Another High Ranking For Webster University
WalletHub tipped its hat to Webster University for being a top-performing school at the lowest cost. In the survey, the financial services firm ranked Webster the 190th best college in the country and the 9th best in Missouri for the best rate of return for dollars spent on tuition. In the private school category, the University ranked 128th nationally and fifth in the state. To see the details, visit here.
University Announces New Center for Innovation and Professional Development (CIPD)
Resulting from the collaboration of the implementation teams, Administration, faculty and staff, the University will introduce the new CIPD initiative in spring 2018.
The new center will enable Webster University to develop innovative non-credit and interdisciplinary for credit programs. Guiding the effort is John Pyle, chief innovation officer and vice president for new business, and led by co-direcors Profs. Gary Renz and Joe Roberts, who are faculty members in the Walker School of Business & Technology.
