Enhancements Announced for Class Waitlists
Students wanting to enroll in a class that is full will now be offered an opportunity to be added to a class waitlist. Advisors, faculty members, and staff members with appropriate CARS permissions will be able to add students to the waitlist, move students from the waitlist to the course, or delete students from the waitlist.
This waitlist tool will function for all WEBG courses for spring 2019 registration. A “User’s Guide” can be found here. Please refer to it for guidelines on how to obtain the permissions that are appropriate for you, or contact your department chair for guidance. Please send suggestions or comments to Registrar Don Morris at email@example.com.
Surveys, Surveys: Two Adjunct Faculty Surveys Seek Respondents.
Currently two surveys seeking adjunct faculty feedback are in the field. The first, which may be found here, asks adjunct faculty to select a venue for the Spring Term Coffee & Conversation with President Beth Stroble, Provost Julian Schuster, and the college/school deans. Dates for these conversations are:
- Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 9 a.m.
- Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 4 p.m.
This survey will close this Friday, December 14.
The other survey is the regular adjunct faculty communications survey, which assesses communications practices and experiences for adjunct faculty at each of the St. Louis area campuses (Webster Groves, Westport, Gateway (Downtown), and Winghaven. Please take a few minutes to offer your opinions here. Your responses will remain anonymous. We will provide an overview of our findings at a later date. This survey closes Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
