Starfish Student Success Portal Early Term Progress Assessments Launch June 14
The Summer 2019 Early Term Progress Survey launches Friday, June 14, and is open for 10 days, closing Monday, June 24, at 11 p.m. CDT.
Please complete your survey(s) during the 10-day window – even if you have no feedback to submit! Raising concerns (flags) or positive feedback (kudos) early is helpful for students and leads to more opportunities to achieve success.
Of the past eight Early Term Progress Surveys, the highest completion rate was 42 percent, but as we’ve been completing Attendance Verification Surveys through the Student Success Portal, we know we can do better! Please help us hit 100 percent completion for the Summer 2019 Early Term Progress Survey!
If you have any questions, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or access the resources available at www.webster.edu/success, including a detailed Progress Survey FAQ section and a two-minute video on how to complete a Progress Survey.
Webster Sports Excel on the National Stage
From track stars to baseball, Webster University established a presence on the national stage at recent competitions.
On the heels of the Gorlok’s appearance in the baseball World Series, Webster sophomore Jacob Ridenhour ended his 2019 track season with a runner up finish in the 200-meter dash at the 2019 NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships. In doing so, he made history by becoming Webster University’s first-ever All-American in men’s track. For more information about Webster Track & Field and Ridenhour’s impressive run (pun intended), visit here.
In addition, the Gorloks also captured its third straight, 18th all-time, all-sports trophy from the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC). During the 2018-19 season, Webster University took home titles in women’s soccer, cross-country and track and field, and men’s basketball, golf, and baseball. For more information, visit here.
Global Student Leadership Summit Held
Students from Webster University’s campuses in Accra, Geneva, Leiden, Vienna, and Webster Groves made presentations to improve student experiences at each of their campuses at the 2019 event. For more information about the event, visit here.
