New Outlook or Old Outlook? That is the Question…
In the latest installment of “Office 365, Did You Know,” learn how to try out Microsoft’s new Outlook offering. While Microsoft has yet to announce when it will be converting over completely, users now have the opportunity to try it out and offer comments on their experience. To learn more, visit here.

Mark Your Calendars: Fall Term Coffee & Conversations (Adjunct Town Halls)
Dates and times have been set for the 2019 Fall Term “Coffee and Conversations” with President Elizabeth Stroble, Provost Julian Schuster, and the deans of the colleges and schools. In an effort to boost convenience and attendance for adjunct faculty, the dates and times were selected based on feedback from recent adjunct surveys.

While the location of the sessions has not been set, mark your calendars for the following:

  • Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019: 3:00-4:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019: 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Chess Tournament Largest Ever
The 2019 Susan Polgar Foundation Girls’ Invitational chess tournament was the largest ever in its 16-year history, drawing 90 young female chess players from 11 countries, 38 U.S. states (plus the District of Columbia and Guam) and seven Canadian provinces. Mitzy Caballero of Peru won the event, taking home $120,000 in scholarships, cash and prizes.
