Adjunct Faculty Survey Responses Due Close of Business Tomorrow
Early last week, adjunct faculty in St. Louis teaching at the Webster, Gateway, Winghaven, and Westport campuses should have a received an email at their Webster.edu address containing a link to the latest communications survey. If you did receive the email, please complete the survey (it is brief) before it closes tomorrow evening (Wednesday, December 18). These surveys are intended to help identify things that are going well, and areas in need of improvement. Once tabulated, the results will be reported here on websteradjunctinfo.org and at the upcoming Coffee and Conversations, which will be held January 15 and 16 at 3:30 p.m. and 11 a.m., respectively.
Two From the Webster Community Honored By Publications
The St. Louis Business Journal selected Simone Cummings, dean of the Walker School of Business and Technology, to receive one of its inaugural “C-Suite Awards.” The award recognizes business executives and managers who have made outstanding contributions to the St. Louis business community. In addition, Chief Diversity Officer Vincent Flewellen was named to the Delux magazine “Power 100” list, which recognizes the most influential, inspirational, and game-changing black professionals in the St. Louis area.
Webster Alums Shine in New Disney Animated Film, Frozen 2 Webster University animation alums Leah Latham and Ashley Lam contributed to the layout and production of Frozen 2, a blockbuster hit. Latham graduated in
2010 and is known for her animation work having worked on the first Frozen film and for voicing the character of Fru Fru in Zootopia. Lam graduated in 2011 with a degree in Photography. For more information on both, please visit here.
