Coronavirus (Covid-19) Updates
Webster University has established a Covid-19 task force and resource page to provide constituents with health tips, travel guidance and on-going updates for any impact on operations.
Although no campus closures have been undertaken to date, the Covid-19 Task Force sent a communication asking all faculty to be prepared to migrate to online instruction should a closure occur.
To facilitate the planning, the Online Learning Center will reach out to all faculty teaching in the Spring 2020 term regarding steps for migrating their instruction to one of the University’s online modalities. In addition, all full-time and adjunct faculty members will be enrolled in the Online Faculty Knowledge Center and provided links to training and support resource. For more information and to see this communication in full, please visit here.
In addition, on Friday (March 6) and Sunday (March 8), the University sent two updates on the outbreak. Sunday’s communication concerned best practices for preventing the spread of the virus, while the Friday’s reiterated the steps the university is taking to minimize travel and the online information resources available for the Webster University community.
