Webster University Announces Plans for Fall Term 2020 and to Re-Open.

Cheryl Fritz Named Chief Human Resources Officer Effective June 1, Cheryl Fritz, a 10-year veteran of Webster University, has been named the university’s chief human resources officer. Since 2019, when she was named to the position in an interim capacity, Fritz developed an integrated unit that includes Human Resources, Payroll/Employee Shared Services and Title IX. She has also served as a key member of the leadership team guiding the response to the global pandemic and supporting the university’s transition to modified operations. School of Communications Alum Shares Pulitzer Prize When Drew Jordan, a 2005 Webster University School of Communications alum, started at the New York Times as a motion designer, he never envisioned being part of a team that won a Pulitzer Prize. After working with a team of journalists on two ground-breaking stories that proved that Russia was engaging in shadow warfare in Syria, he, along with the whole team, was awarded the coveted Pulitzer Prize.
