MESSAGE from the TASK FORCE on TRANSITION and ADAPTABILITY
To Webster University community members regarding Fall 2020 programs:
As first announced in June as part of preparations for returning to campuses during the pandemic, this year the traditional fall break (originally scheduled for October 19-23) for undergraduate students and for applicable graduate students was moved to the end of the semester. This change enables the undergraduate fall semester and terms to end a week earlier than originally planned – on December 11 rather than December 18. Most graduate programs had no change in schedule and will end on December 18.
This means that for most locations Fall 1 ends on Oct. 16 and Fall 2 begins on Oct. 19. U.S. locations will also be closed for Thanksgiving Break on November 26-27.
While this calendar applies to all U.S. locations and several locations outside the United States, campuses outside the United States should consult their local academic calendar for any variation.
Plans and operations are subject to change if pandemic conditions and local health authority directives dictate, but we do not expect any further changes to the Fall 2020 academic calendar.<
